Balwin Subway Restaurant Robbed at Knifepoint Easter Sunday

Baldwin, NY - March 28th, 2016 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at 12:53 pm in Baldwin.

According to detectives, a male subject entered the Subway restaurant located at 1685 Grand Avenue and approached two female employees demanding cash from the register while displaying a large knife.

After complying the subject then fled on foot heading north on Grand Avenue with an undisclosed amount of US currency. There were no injuries reported. There no customers present in the store.

The subject is described as being 5’11” tall, medium build, unknown race, tan colored hooded jacket, and was wearing a dark partial face mask.
