Burglars Punch Hole Through Cement Wall of Massapequa Smoke Shop, Officials Report

Massapequa, NY - March 27, 2018 - The Seventh Squad is investigating a Burglary that occurred on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 4:26 am in Massapequa.
 
According to detectives, police officers responded to Smoke City at 5500 Sunrise Highway, for a report of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers entered the store and observed that the power to the business had been shut off and a large hole was punched through the rear cinderblock wall.
 
Unknown subject(s) entered through the wall and took an undetermined amount of cigarettes and attempted to pry open the ATM. A sledgehammer, wire cutters and a crowbar were discovered inside of the business.
