NCPD Searching for Hempstead Larcenist

Hempstead, NY - March 27, 2014 - Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying the pictured subject in connection with a Grand Larceny which occurred in Hempstead, New York. 
 
On Friday, July 26, 2013, at approximately 1:30 P.M., the pictured subject met with the victim on Elm Avenue, Hempstead under the pretense that his business Los Amigos Hispanic Restaurant located at 501 Union Avenue, Westbury, NY would prosper if he allowed the suspect to bless his money. While at this location the victim gave the subject $45,000.00 cash to be blessed, and he was told by the subject to come back in 30 minutes, and his money would be clean. When the victim returned in the allotted time the subject was gone. The subject fled the scene in an unknown direction with the victim’s money.
