SCPD Advisory: Wanted for Burglary

A Holbrook home was robbed earlier this month by three men posing as police officers.

Holbrook, NY - March 26, 2014 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the people who broke into an occupied home in Holbrook earlier this month.   
 
Three men wearing badges around their necks forced their way into a home on Donald Street on March 14 and said they were the police. Once inside, an occupant was handcuffed and the men stole money. They fled in a white or gray Lincoln or Mercury four-door sedan with chrome rims.
 
One of the suspects (pictured in sketch) was described as white, in his 30s, 6 feet 3 inches tall to 6 feet 4 inches tall, 280 pounds with a shaved head and a chinstrap brown beard.
 
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-220-TIPS.  All calls will be kept confidential. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
