Crime Stoppers Searching for Middle Island Deodorant Thief

Middle Island, NY - March 22, 2016 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a man who stole merchandise from a Middle Island store.
 
 
On March 12, a man entered Rite Aid, located at 864 Middle Country Road, and placed more than 2 dozen deodorants in his jacket. The man left the store without paying for the merchandise which was valued at approximately $200.
 
The man is described as a white male in his early 20s with short brown hair and a Lincoln chin strap beard. He was wearing a blue jacket with a gray hoodie, dark-colored pants and dark-colored sneakers.
 
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
