Local Girl Scouts Get Creative For Cookie Selling Season

Written by Lon Cohen  |  25. March 2021

This year the Girl Scouts of Nassau County did not let the pandemic stop them from selling their famous cookies. The girls set up a pop-up drive-through site at 110 Ring Road West in Garden City last weekend for people to make their cookie purchases. They also had ordering via Grubhub available.

In the beginning of March the Girl Scout troops were permitted to hold a contactless cookie drive-thru to sell their ware. Troops were told by the organization to follow all Covid-19 guidelines.

The sale was held on Saturday and Sunday, March 20 and 21 for a special weekend cookie sale hosted by Girls Scouts. For those who missed the sale there’s no need to fret. Digital orders are available online by going to: www.girlscoutcookies.org.
