Man Arrested for Robbing Farmingville 7-Eleven Twice in Three Months, Officials Report

Farmingville, NY - March 21, 2018 - Suffolk County Police arrested a Farmingville man for robbing a Farmingville convenience store twice during the past three months.
 
Deshawn Martin entered 7-Eleven, located at 358 Mooney Pond Road, and robbed an employee at gunpoint at 12:08 a.m. on March 20. Sixth Precinct officers located Martin a short time later on Route 25, near South Coleman Road, in Centereach.
 
Further investigation by Major Case Unit detectives determined Martin also robbed the location on January 1 at approximately 6:45 a.m.
 
Martin, 21, was charged with two counts of Robbery 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest. Martin was scheduled to be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
