SCPD: Man’s Body Found on Beach Near Port Jefferson Harbor
Port Jefferson, NY - March 17, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the drowning death of a man found near Port Jefferson Harbor today.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to a beach near Port Jefferson Harbor after a Village of Port Jefferson Constable found the body of Marlon Lewis at approximately 1:45 p.m. Lewis, 28, undomiciled, appears to have drowned.
The investigation is continuing and an autopsy will be performed by the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
