Couple Wanted for Coram Diner Dine & Dash

Coram, NY - March 18th, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man and woman who left a restaurant without paying and endangered an employee who chased after them in Coram last month.

A man and woman entered the Coram Diner, located at 383 Middle Country Road, ate a meal and left without paying the $80 bill. When they left, an employee followed them and stood in front of the suspects’ vehicle.

The vehicle, a dark-colored four door sedan, pulled forward which caused the employee to hold onto the hood. The vehicle continued out of the parking lot and the employee slid off the car and suffered minor injuries.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
