Legislature Honors Vincent Cordiale with Employee Excellence Award

Riverhead, NY - March 17, 2017 - At the General Legislature Meeting on Tuesday, March 7th, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker and Presiding Officer DuWayne Gregory honored Vincent Cordiale of Rocky Point for earning the Suffolk County Legislature’s Employee Excellence Award. Mr. Cordiale is a Systems Analyst Supervisor for the Department of Information Technology. He has been an employee of the County for 20 years and is responsible for the County’s overall technological infrastructure.

“I am proud to honor Mr. Vincent Cordiale with the Suffolk County Legislature’s Employee Excellence Award. He is leader in the department and has been responsible for many projects, including the initial design and additional improvements of the technology infrastructure,” said Legislature Anker. “I would like to thank Mr. Cordiale for his dedication and commitment to his fellow employees and to Suffolk County.”

“Mr. Cordiale’s dedication and expertise are unparalleled. He is a true team player who always makes himself available to help solve a problem or to assist a fellow coworker, even during the evening and over the weekend. He has worked hard to ensure that County systems remain up and running during storms and was instrumental in keeping us online during Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane Irene, and snowstorm Nemo. We are grateful to have him as a member of our IT staff.”
