At his recent 2014 State of the State address, Governor Andrew Cuomo said it best when he emphasized that as New Yorkers “we are one.” Specifically on Long Island, this past year leaders from different industries have worked together to build upon the successes of exciting projects focusing on community revitalization, economic development, environmental health, and social justice. This action packed event will examine these collaborations, many made stronger in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, and discuss how strategic partnerships have benefited.
