Mount Sinai Man Killed in Single-Car Crash

Mount Sinai, NY - March 16, 2015 - Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that killed a man in Mount Sinai today.
Edward Drumgole was driving a 2010 Honda Accord southbound on Chestnut Street when he apparently lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. The vehicle spun around, hit a pole and came to rest on the front lawn of 132 Chestnut Street at approximately 5 p.m.
Drumgole, 43, of Hartwell Drive, Mount Sinai, was transported to John T. Mather Memorial Hospital in Port Jefferson by Port Jefferson Ambulance where he was pronounced dead.
