Waitress Arrested for Stealing Credit Card Info While Working at Chili's of Westbury

Westbury, NY - March 14th, 2014 - The Crimes Against Property Squad reports the arrest of a Queens woman for Grand Larceny 3rd degree on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 5:45 P.M in Westbury.

According to detectives, between December 2013 and March 2014, Brittany Louis, 24, of 7525 153rd Street Apt. 511, Flushing, while employed at Chili’s, located at 1205 Corporate Drive was found to be stealing credit card numbers.  She used the information received from these cards to make several purchases at Bloomingdales in Roosevelt Field.  The CAP squad along with the U.S. Secret Service responded to Chili’s on Thursday, March 13, 2014 and placed the suspect under arrest.  During the investigation she was found to be in possession of a skimmer device (wedge).  The total loss to Citi bank is $5438.80.

Louis is charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Unlawful Possession of a Skimmer Device 2nd degree and four counts of Unlawfully Possessing Personal Identification Information 3rd degree and will be arraigned on Friday, March 14, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
