Update - March 13, 2017 - Due to the impending snowstorm, residential waste collection will not take place on Tuesday, March 14th. Residents not receiving trash pickup on Tuesday will have service resumed on their next scheduled collection day of Friday, March 17.

Please remove all garbage cans from the curb, and remove cars from the street, to give our plows easier access along our roadways.

Islip, NY - March 12, 2017 - Likely snow accumulation of 12 to 18 inches will develop late Monday night through Tuesday evening. Winds of 20 to 30mph with isolated gusts of up to 60mph are expected.  Minor to moderate local flooding will coincide with Tuesday's high tide cycle. Town officials are urging residents to remove cars, garbage cans and basketball hoops from the roadway.
