North Babylon Bank Robbed

North Babylon, NY - March 12, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a bank robbery that occurred at a bank in North Babylon this morning.
 
A man entered Chase, located at 35 Woods Road, and approached a teller with a note demanding cash and indicating that he had a gun. The teller gave the suspect cash from the drawer and he fled on foot northbound on Woods Road.
 
The robber is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark knit cap, a dark-colored jacket and blue jeans.
