NCPD reports the arrest of Stephanie Kalan of Old Bethpage, 26, for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Massapequa Park, NY - March 9, 2018 - The Criminal Intelligence Rapid Response Team (CIRRT) reports the arrest of an Old Bethpage woman for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance which occurred on Wednesday, March 07, 2018 at 10:10 p.m. in Massapequa Park.
 
According to Officers, while on routine patrol, a 2015 Mitsubishi was parked in the parking lot at 131 Front Street. The Officers observed a female sleeping in the driver’s seat and a black vape pen containing a brown syrup like substance believed to be Tetrahydrocannabinols (THC) on the passenger seat. 
 
During the investigation, officers discovered a straw with a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine and several containers with pills believed to be Amphetamine and Dextroamphetamine. Defendant, Stephanie Kalan, 26, was placed under arrest without incident. 
 
Defendant Kalan is charged with 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th Degree. The defendant was released on a Nassau County Appearance Ticket returnable on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 to First District Court, Hempstead.
