Suffolk Police Need Your Help to Identify Driver of Fatal Hit and Run

Wyandanch, NY - March 6, 2015 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Vehicular Crime Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash earlier this year.
 
Raina Campbell (pictured on the right) was walking on East Booker Avenue, near Straight Path, in Wyandanch on January 12 at approximately 6:55 p.m. when she was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The vehicle is believed to be blue and would have sustained damage to the windshield.
 
Campbell, 48, of Wyandanch, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where she was pronounced dead.
 
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
