Franklin Square, NY - March 8, 2015 - The Public Information Office reports the details of an aided case that occurred on Friday, March 06, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. in Franklin Square.

According to police, a call from the Franklin Square Immediate Care Center, located at 30 Franklin Avenue was placed to 911 for an ambulance to transport a 29-year-old female patient exhibiting flu-like symptoms. During the physicians examination of the patient, it had been determined that she had recently traveled from Africa. The patient was deemed a non-Ebola risk case and was transported to an area hospital for normal medical treatment of flu-like symptoms.
