Nassau County Police Investigating Fire at Westbury Delicatessen
Westbury, NY - March 8, 2018 - Arson Bomb squad detectives report the details of a building fire that occurred on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 1:04P.M. in Westbury.
According to detectives, a fire, that appeared to start in the rear of a deli located at 248 Post Ave. One male occupant escaped the fire but suffered minor injuries, he refused medical attention at scene.
Members of the Westbury, Hicksville and Carle Place Fire Departments responded and extinguished the fire.
The Nassau County Arson/Bomb Squad as well as the Nassau County Fire Marshall responded to the scene and determined the fire to be undetermined/non-suspicious. An investigation is ongoing.
