Albany, NY - March 7th, 2016 - Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has directed that flags on state government buildings be flown at half-staff in honor of former First Lady Nancy Reagan. Flags will be flown at half-staff from March 8, 2016 through the date of interment.

“Born in Queens, Nancy Reagan was committed to improving the lives of others, and her legacy will no doubt be felt for decades to come,” said Governor Cuomo.

“As we mourn the former First Lady’s passing, I am directing that flags on all state government buildings be flown at half-staff to honor her life and her many contributions to our nation.”
