Police Arrest Two Men for Burglarizing Vacant Home in Baldwin

Baldwin, NY - March 5, 2017 - First Squad detectives report the arrest of two Queens men for a Burglary that occurred on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at 12:50 pm in Baldwin.

According to detectives, First Precinct officers were dispatched to an Alhambra Road residence, which is currently a vacant home, for a possible burglary in progress. Upon arrival officers observed that a rear door to the house was kicked in. A search was initiated and officers eventually located Oumar Barry, 20, and Javonne Brewster, 21, both of Queens, inside and placed them under arrest.

A subsequent investigation was then conducted and after locating their vehicle, which was parked near the home, property, including vinyl records from the house, was recovered.

Both defendants are charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and will be arraigned in First District Court, Hempstead on 3/6/2017.
