CANCELLED - Southampton Police Issue Silver Alert for Missing Bipolar Man in Need of Meds

Riverside, NY - March 5, 2018 - The Southampton Town Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a man who is bipolar and may be in need of medication.
 
Roger Makowski, 60, who is homeless, was last seen on January 13 at the Budget Host Inn on Lake Avenue in Riverside. He is 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 250 pounds, bald, with brown eyes and a short, cropped gray beard. Makowski may be operating a 2018 white Subaru Forester.
 
Anyone with information on Makowski’s location is asked to call the Southampton Town Police at 631-702-2230 or 911.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
