Man Wanted for Robbing Freeport Autozone

Freeport, NY - Mard 3rd, 2015 - The First Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. in Freeport.

According to detectives, two male black subjects entered the AutoZone located at 55 E. Merrick Road and approached the two male employees 19 and 36 years of age. The subjects forced the victims to the ground behind the counter where they began to kick them. They tied up one victim with duct tape and ordered the second victim to open the safe before tying him up with his belt and a phone cord. The subjects fled in an unknown direction with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency. No injuries were reported.

Subject #1 is described as in his twenties, 5’9” tall, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black cargo pants, with black Timberland boots carrying a black semi-automatic handgun with a brown handle and wearing latex gloves.

Subject #2 is described as in his twenties, 5’9” tall, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, gold/black Nike “foam” sneakers, carrying a silver semi-automatic handgun and wearing latex gloves.
