CANCELLED - Suffolk Authorities Seeking Missing, Possibly Suicidal Terryville Man

UPDATE - March 14, 2018 - Michael Boreshesky’s body was found on the beach on Hilltop Drive in Sound Beach at 3:20 p.m. on March 3, 2018. His death appears non-criminal.

Terryville, NY - March 1, 2018 - The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Terryville man who is diabetic and may be suicidal.
 
Michael Boreshesky, 71, of 62 Superior St., was last seen boarding the Port Jefferson Ferry at 8 p.m. on February 27. Boreshesky is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall, approximately 140 pounds with brown eyes, blond hair and wears glasses. At the time he boarded the ferry, he was wearing a black winter coat and black hat.
 
Anyone with information can submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or by calling 911.
 
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
