Mangano Announces Free St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced the Third Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Old Bethpage Village Restoration.

Long Island, NY - February 27, 2014 - Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano has announced the Third Annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 8th at Old Bethpage Village Restoration. The event will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Admission is free.
 
Irish entertainment will include the Irish Rock Bands: The Sporting Paddies and The Mickey Finns, in addition to a performance by the Donny Golden School of Irish Dance. Bagpipers and fiddlers will also be providing live entertainment throughout the day. Traditional Irish food and beverages will be offered and Irish merchandise will be available for purchase at the Fairgrounds Building and the Noon Inn.
 
Old Bethpage Village Restoration, Nassau County’s only living history museum, is located at 1303 Round Swamp Road in Old Bethpage, one mile south of Exit 48 on the Long Island Expressway. Old Bethpage Village Restoration provides visitors with a unique and wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience life in a recreated mid-19th Century American village set on more than 200 acres.
