Lindenhurst Man Arrested for Soliciting Teen Girls in Massapequa Park

Massapequa Park, NY - February 24th, 2015 - The Seventh Squad reports the arrest of a Lindenhurst man for Attempted Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 5:10 P.M. in Massapequa Park.
 
According to detectives, on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at 3:05 P.M. a male approached 2 girls, 14 years of age, in the parking lot of King Kullen supermarket located at 4900 Merrick Road.  He showed the girls a box of condoms, asked them if they would like to be in an adult video with him and showed them pornographic pictures on his phone. The girls began to walk away at which time he asked them to reconsider making a video. The girls ran to a nearby store and called police.
 
An investigation identified Andrew A. Quattrone, 32, of 51st Street as the suspect. He was located on Monday, February 23, 2015 at 5:10 P.M. and placed under arrest without incident in the King Kullen lot located at 4900 Merrick Road. 
 
Quattrone is charged with two counts each of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance (Attempt), Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Criminal Solicitation 3rd degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
