North Amityville, NY - February 19th, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy D. Sini today announced the results of search warrants executed at North Amityville homes this week that resulted in the arrests of 13 people while drugs, guns and cash were seized.
Officers and detectives from Firearms Suppression Team (FAST), Narcotics Section, Emergency Service Section and the Federal Bureau Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) executed a search warrant at 90 East Smith St., a known gang hangout, and confiscated guns, ammunition, drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash from the location on February 17.
Eight people were arrested during the raid. A search warrant was also executed this morning at 58 Miller Ave., and the location of a recent reckless endangerment investigation. Five people were arrested and a loaded gun, drugs and cash were seized.

“This is a tremendous hit for the residents of Suffolk County, said Police Commissioner Timothy D. Sini. “As the evidence shows, the individuals occupying the residences are extremely dangerous.”

Emile Pacheco, 27, of 90 East Smith St., North Amityville, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, five counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.

William Montgomery, 28, of 76 Eisenhower St., Brentwood, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, five counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.

Dajone Fields, 22, of 22 Andpress Plaza, North Amityville, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, five counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Use Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.

Tarazzi Wilkins, 21, of 147 Steele Place, North Amityville, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2nd Degree, five counts of Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd Degree and Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Degree.

Jesiah Lowe, 30, of 30 Ash St., Amityville, was charged with a Parole Warrant and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

Lashanda Gabriel, 34, of 3055 Veterans Memorial Highway, Ronkonkoma, was charged with three warrants.

Taj Jackson, 38, of 5 Howard St., Wheatley Heights, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
- Desohn Hunter, 28, of 45 Parkway Blvd., Wyandanch, was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree and Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5th Degree.
The February 17 search warrant resulted in the following seizures:
- A loaded.357 magnum Ruger revolver
- A loaded Colt AR-15 .223 caliber assault weapon
- A loaded GP Wasr 10/63 7.62 caliber assault weapon
- Winchester Model 70XTR .338 rifle with scope
- Three high capacity magazines
- Numerous rounds of ammunition
- Approximately 142 grams of crack/cocaine
- Approximately $790 in cash
- Digital scale
- 9 cell phones
An additional 9.6 grams of crack and 3 grams of marijuana were recovered from a vehicle at the location.
The commissioner offered the following advice to criminals, “If you are going to deal drugs and commit acts of violence in our communities, the Suffolk County Police Department is coming for you.”
F.A.S.T, Firearm Suppression Team, which was recently created and consists of police officers and detectives, targets individuals who pose the most significant threat to the safety of Suffolk residents. The team’s purpose is to remove illegal firearms from the county’s streets and will focus its attention on communities that are most affected by firearm-related crimes.
Information regarding the names and charges of the five people arrested this morning at 58 Miller Ave. will be released later today.
