The Eighth Squad reports the details of a Burglary that occurred on Monday, February 16, 2026 at 3:20 a.m. in South Farmingdale.
According to detectives, eighth precinct officers responded to Evergreen smoke shop, located at 199 Merritts Road for a Commercial Burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that an unknown subject, wearing a dark hoodie, broke the front glass door with a metal object and entered the store.
Further investigation revealed that the cash register had been thrown onto the ground and an unknown amount of US currency and vapes had been removed. The subject fled in an unknown direction.
The investigation is ongoing.
