Man In Custody For Snatching Packages from South Hempstead Residences, Police Report

NCPD reports the arrest of Joseph Ravenell of Hempstead, 26, for Petit Larceny.

South Hempstead, NY - February 16, 2018 - The First Squad Detectives report the arrest of a South Hempstead man for Petit Larceny that occurred on February 14, 2018 at 1:48P.M. in South Hempstead.
 
According to detectives, a male was seen on video surveillance removing packages from several residences and placing them into a maroon Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
 
A subsequent follow up investigation led to the arrest of Joseph Ravenell, 26, of Hempstead. The defendant Ravenell was charged with 7 counts of Petit Larceny which occurred at the following locations:
 
  1. February 14, 2018, 33 Columbia Rd, Rockville Centre
  2. February 14, 2018, 415 Windsor Pl. Oceanside
  3. February 14, 2018, 302 Cedar St. South Hempstead
  4. February 14, 2018, 230 Harvard Ave, Rockville Centre
  5. February 14, 2018, 425 Hempstead Ave, Rockville Centre
  6. February 14, 2018 14 Dartmouth St, Rockville Centre
  7. February 14 2018, 18 Terrell Ave, Rockville Centre
Defendant Ravenell will be arraigned February 16, 2018 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
