Malverne Duo Nabbed for Valley Stream Home Break In

Malverne, NY - February 16th, 2016 - Fifth Squad detectives report the arrests of two Malverne men for a burglary that occurred in Valley Stream on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at 8:35 A.M.
 
According to detectives, Raymond Buckridge, 32, of Orbach Ave. and Michael Kelly, 46, of King St., entered a residence on Molyneaux Rd., by breaking the glass on the side door of the home.  
 

Michael Kelly has been arrested for Burglary in the 2nd Degree after a DNA Match to evidence left at the scene.
 
Once inside, the defendants removed assorted jewelry (value undisclosed) and fled the scene. Detectives recovered defendant Kelly’s DNA, who had cut himself on the glass, at the scene. Buckridge, who had pawned some of the jewelry that day, was identified by the pawn shop owner.
 
Fifth Precinct police officers arrested both defendants on Monday, 02/15/16 in front of 118 King St.  Buckridge is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree, Criminal Possession Stolen Property 5th Degree and Tampering with Physical Evidence. 
 
Kelly is being charged with Burglary 2nd Degree and Ped Right of Way/Cross Rdway (previous open warrant). Both defendants will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in First District Court, Hempstead.
