NCPD Crime Alert: Stewart Manor Bank Robbed

Stewart Manor, NY - February 15th, 2015 - The Major Case Bureau is investigating an attempted bank robbery that occurred in Stewart Manor on Saturday, 02/14/15 at 11:51 A.M.
 
According to detectives, a male subject entered the Chase Bank located at 110 Covert Avenue, approached a teller and verbally demanded money. The teller did not respond and the subject fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction without proceeds. There were four employees and one customer present in the bank at the time of the robbery.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is described as a male Hispanic, late teens-early twenties, 5’6”-5’8” tall, medium build. No further description is available at this time.
