PSEG Long Island: Storm Update - February 14th at 3:30 AM

Nassau County, NY - February 14th, 2014 - With the strength of latest storm winding down across much of PSEG Long Island’s service territory, PSEG Long Island is reporting that 70 of its approximately 1.1 million customers are currently without service. The 70 outages are scattered across Nassau County. Crews have been dispatched and restoration is expected soon.
 
We are continuing to monitor the weather, specifically the gusting winds, and will restore outages as safely and as quickly as possible. At PSEG Long Island, employee and customer safety is first and foremost. 
 
We encourage customers to report downed wires or power outages. Customers with a handheld device can report power outages by texting “OUT” to PSEGLI (773454). Outages can also be reported by calling PSEG Long Island’s Outage Hotline at 1-800-490-0075.
 
The PSEG Long Island Twitter page will keep the public informed about our restoration progress. Customers are encouraged to sign up for updates and additional information.
