Bay Street Theater Announces Open Casting Calls For 2018 Mainstage Season

Sag Harbor, NY - February 12, 2018 - Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce OPEN CASTING CALLS for their 2018 MAINSTAGE SEASON, which will take place at Bay Street Theater on Monday, February 26, 2018 and Tuesday, February 27, 2018. Auditions will be from 10 am – 1 pm & 2 pm – 6 pm on both days. This call is open to male and female Equity and Non-Equity actors local to the area.
 
Bay Street Theater’s 2018 Mainstage Season will feature productions of the world premiere of FELLOW TRAVELERS (by Jack Canfora, directed by Michael Wilson), FROST/NIXON (by Peter Morgan, directed by Sarna Lapine), and EVITA (Lyrics by Tim Rice, Music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, directed by Will Pomerantz).
 
This is a LORT C Equity Principal audition. Open calls will be run by Will Pomerantz, Bay Street Theater’s Artistic Associate, and John Sullivan, Bay Street Theater’s Associate Producer. Actors are asked to prepare a contemporary monologue, no longer than 2 minutes. They may also prepare a few bars of music song if they wish to demonstrate singing skills. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend, as well as actors with local housing.
