Louisiana Sex Offender Arrested for Soliciting Freeport 12 Year Old Online
Freeport, NY - February 12th, 2014 - The Nassau County Police Department reports an arrest for child pornography which occurred on Tuesday, February 11, 2014.
According to detectives, Adam Shilow, 34, of 210 St. George Street, Eunice, Louisiana was found to be communicating and exchanging sexual text messages via a cell phone texting app called “Tango” with a female victim, 12 years of age, who resides in Freeport. The Nassau County Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force detectives began an investigation in November 2013 and a joint investigation by Nassau County Police, The Attorney Generals High Technology Crime Unit, St. Landry Parish Sherriff’s Office, Eunice Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations led to the arrest of this suspect on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in Louisiana. The suspect is a Level 1 sex offender. He is charged with Louisiana State charges which include Indecent Pornography Involving Juveniles, Indecent Behavior Involving Juveniles, Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor and Unlawful Use of Social Networking.
