Medford, NY - February 11th, 2016 - Suffolk County Police Department is investigating an incident during which a police officer fired shots at a vehicle after a police officer was struck by a suspect’s vehicle as it fled the scene of an attempted larceny investigation.

Two Fifth Precinct officers were at 76 Gas Station, located at 2243 Route 112 in Medford, when the clerk reported to them an attempted larceny that occurred approximately 30 minutes earlier. As the officers were leaving the location, the suspect’s vehicle returned with three occupants.
