North Woodmere Gas Station Robbed at Knifepoint

North Woodmere, NY - February 10th, 2015 - Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred in North Woodmere on Monday, 02/09/15 at 9:21 P.M.

According to detectives, a male subject armed with a knife, entered Shell Gas Station located at 928 Rosedale Rd., and went behind the counter where the clerk was standing.  The clerk fled the store and notified police. The subject took a black metal cash register draw containing an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot westbound on Rosedale Ave. towards the Queens border. There were no customers present in the gas station at the time of the robbery.

No injuries were reported.

The subject is described as a male black, wearing a black ski mask, black jacket, and blue jeans.  No further description is available.
