Director Brian Crano Gives Us ‘Permission’ to Question Monogamy on Tom Needham’s The Sounds of Film
Stony Brook, NY - February 8, 2018 - Tom Needham’s ‘The Sounds of Film’ will feature exclusive interviews with writer/director, Brian Crano, and actor, David Joseph Craig. Their film, ‘Permission’ was a recent selection at the Tribeca Film Festival.
‘Permission’ is a funny, heartfelt story about a young couple set in Brooklyn. The film features two young people, Anna and Will, who claim they are in love and looking forward to marriage. They are all ready to get married and move into their new Brooklyn home when a friend challenges them to sleep around a bit before their inevitable marriage. They both reluctantly agree to move outside the boundaries of their monogamous relationship with surprising results. The film stars Rebecca Hall, Morgan Spector, David Joseph Craig, Francois Arnaud and Gina Gershon.
Writer/director Brian Crano is well known for his films ‘A Bag of Hammers’ and ‘Dog Food,’ which premiered at SXSW. David Joseph Craig is a comedic actor, writer and producer. He is recognized for his role in ‘The Gift’ and his work with Characters Welcome, a house team with the prestigious Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York City.
