NCPD: Driver Hit Teenage Girl, Fled

Levittown, NY - February 7, 2014 - Second Squad detectives are investigating a Leaving the Scene of an Accident with Injury that occurred on February 6, 2014 at 3:52 pm in Levittown.
 
According to detectives, while crossing Hempstead Turnpike at the corner of Shelter Lane, a 14 year old female was struck by an eastbound brown or tan four door auto that fled the scene without stopping. As a result of the initial collision, the victim was thrown into the air and was subsequently struck by two other vehicles that stopped and remained at the scene.
 
The victim, who suffered multiple trauma injuries, was transported to an area hospital and was admitted for treatment.
