Long Island Funeral Home Discovers 82 Year-Old Woman Breathing Hours after Declared Dead

A Long Island funeral home discovered that an 82 year-old woman pronounced dead at a local area nursing home just hours before she was suddenly breathing once again, reports say.
 
On Saturday, February 4, the woman in question was pronounced dead at Waters Edge Rehab and Nursing Center in Port Jefferson, where she was a resident. 
 
At 1:30 p.m. that same day she was transported to O.B. Davis Funeral Home in Miller Place; however, employees of the funeral home were shocked when they found that the woman was actually breathing at 2:09 p.m., at which point she was rushed to a local area medical facility.
