Wyandanch Man Charged by SPCA with Allegedly Strangling Female Pit Bull

Wyandanch, NY - February 6, 2019 - Michael Nero, 37, of Wyandanch will appear on February 25th, 2019 in First District Court.  
 
Nero, of Allstars Working Dogs of Wyandanch, was charged with cruelty to animals by Suffolk County SPCA Detectives after a lengthy investigation. Madison Blue, a female pit bull mix, was strangled due to being restrained and dragged by her leash. She had to be euthanized after she collapsed and was found to be comatose and unresponsive.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
