Suffolk County Executive Bellone Announces East End Job Fair

Suffolk County, NY - February 6, 2018 - Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone today announced that the Suffolk County Department of Labor, Licensing & Consumer Affairs will host a Job Fair at the East Hampton Library at 159 Main Street, East Hampton, on Friday, February 9, 2018. Nearly 300 jobs openings will be available at this event, which will take place between 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
 
“Suffolk County is committed to connecting local employers to qualified job seekers who are determined to stay and work in their local communities,” said County Executive Steve Bellone. “I encourage anyone searching for a job to attend this Job Fair as we continue to drive down unemployment in Suffolk County even further.”
 
Companies and organizations scheduled to attend include Aid to the Developmentally Disabled, Attentive Care, Bob’s Discount Furniture, Certified Laboratories, Core BTS, Home Care Solutions, Home Depot, Lowes, People Ready, People’s United Bank, Ridgewells, Statefarm Insurance, Suffolk County Civil Service, Suffolk Federal Credit Union and the U.S. Postal Service.
 
Job seekers should bring resumes and be prepared to ask questions of prospective employers. Job candidates in need of proper attire for an interview should contact Career Couture at (631) 853-6769. Career Couture is a boutique at the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center that offers individuals proper business attire for upcoming interviews without a charge. Admission is free and no registration is required.
