The First Squad has released the identity of a Fatal Aided case that originally occurred on Monday, January 2, 2026 at approximately 9:15 a.m. in Baldwin.
According to detectives, officers responded to 2878 Grand Avenue for an aided case. Bruno Castro, 78, of Baldwin was found outside near the rear of the building and was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced by hospital staff.
The investigation is ongoing.
