VIDEO: Authorities Seeking Couple Who Broke into Rockville Centre Car, Stole Cash, Credit Cards

Rockville Centre, NY - February 2, 2018 - The First Squad reports the details of a Grand Larceny that occurred on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 5:30 pm in Rockville Centre.
 
According to detectives, the female victim parked her 2017 Hyundai Tuscan in the rear parking lot of 40 Maple Avenue. The victim returned to her vehicle approximately an hour later and discovered her vehicle’s rear passenger widow was shattered. A wallet, undisclosed amount of U.S. currency, credit cards, and a pocket book were removed from the vehicle.
 
A short time later, an unknown male and female entered CVS, located at 668 Sunrise Highway, Baldwin, and used one of the victim’s credit cards. The male is described as white, medium build, wearing a dark colored jacket, hat, blue jeans and black sneakers. The female is described as white, medium build, black jacket, gray pants and white sneakers.
 
The following vehicles were also reported damaged in the area on the same date:
 
  • 2017 Acura at 100 Hempstead Avenue (parking lot). The front passenger window was damaged.  No loss was reported.
  • 2013 Chevrolet Equinox on Ohio Street. The front passenger window was shattered. A hand bag containing a watch and gift certificate was removed.
The investigation revealed a Nissan, four door sedan, blue/gray in color, was observed in the vicinity of each location.
