Sixteen-Year-Old Male Injured in Deer Park Shooting

Deer Park, NY - February 2, 2014 - Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting in which a 16-year-old male was injured in Deer Park.
 
Joshua Rosenberg, of Deer Park, was walking with three male friends, ages 18 to 20, on Scott Avenue near Tell Avenue in Deer Park just after midnight today when they heard several gunshots nearby. They began to run away and Rosenberg realized that he had been shot in the arm.
 
Rosenberg was transported by Deer Park Fire Department Rescue to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he is in stable condition.
