Cops: Male Suspect Presents Bohemia Bank Teller with Demand Note, Flees with Cash

Bohemia, NY - January 30, 2019 - Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Major Case Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who robbed a Bohemia bank.
 
A man entered Capital One, located at 4110 Veterans Memorial Highway, on January 14 at 9:43 a.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot eastbound on Veterans Memorial Highway and then southbound on Corporate Drive.
 
The robber was described as white, between 25 and 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, with a medium build, dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, sneakers, a black Nuggets hat and was carrying a backpack.
