Woodbury, NY - January 28th, 2015 - The Joseph Toles Foundation will hosting their CELEBRATION of HOPE, tomorrow evening, Thursday, January 29th from 6pm-10pm at the Crest Hollow Country Club, located at 8325 Jericho Turnpike, Woodbury. The foundation, created by Joseph Toles who was in foster care from birth until he aged out at 21 years old, raises funds for underprivileged youth to attend summer camp.

“For the children in the New York State foster care system, Joseph Toles is a powerful example of resiliency in the face of hopelessness and isolation. His passion and dedication for providing love, opportunity and direction to youth facing adversity is such a worthy cause to support,” stated Legislator William R. Spencer. “I encourage folks to brave the cold and come out tomorrow evening to support this celebration.”

Although Legislator William R. Spencer will be honored at the event, he wishes to put the spotlight on the mission of the foundation as well as the other honorees whose work is having a positive impact on the youth of our community. The honorees include the President of the Half Hollow Hills School Board, Eric Geringswald, Suffolk County Deputy Police Commissioner, Risco Mention-Lewis and youth honoree Justin Greene.

“I am humbled to be recognized among those who are on the frontlines of serving our youth, clearly for Joseph Toles and the honorees this is not a job, but a calling and I applaud them.”
