Suffolk County Police Issue Alert for Two Missing Bay Shore Teens

UPDATE - January 28, 2019 - Janelle Hernandez, the 14-year-old Bay Shore girl who was reported missing on January 26, has been located, unharmed. Christopher Jackson remains missing. The investigation is continuing.

Bay Shore, NY - January 28, 2019 - Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to locate two Bay Shore teens were reported missing and are possibly together.
 
Janelle Hernandez, 14, of 19 Connecticut Ave., was reported missing on Saturday, January 26, at approximately 8:50 a.m. Christopher Jackson, 16, was last seen at his group home, located at 199 Benton Place, at approximately 4 a.m. that day.
 
Hernandez is Hispanic, 5 feet, 5 inches tall and approximately 115 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Jackson is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and approximately 170 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a red vest, blue jeans and red and black sneakers.
