Crime Report: New Hyde Park Gas Station Robbery

January 26, 2015 - New Hyde Park, NY - The Third Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 5:45 p.m. in New Hyde Park.

According to detectives, a male suspect,  armed with a black handgun, and described as approximately 5’7” tall, 160 lbs., with his head and faced covered, dark gloves, dark jacket and gray pants,  entered the BP Gas Station located at 1301 Jericho Turnpike and demanded the cash from the male attendant. The subject fired one round from the weapon into the counter before fleeing with an undetermined amount of U.S currency. He fled on foot northbound on Abraham Lane. There were no injuries reported.
