Town of Islip Blizzard Alert: Residents Asked to Remove Parked Cars from All Roadways
Islip, NY - January 26, 2015 - The Islip Town Board urges residents to review the Town’s winter weather safety tips and procedures, especially during times of imminent snowfall, which are available by clicking here or visiting the Town’s website.
This information has been compiled to aide residents and business owners in understanding their responsibilities during a snowfall. The goal of all of the Town’s efforts during inclement weather is the safety of residents. Winter weather operations include clearing the roads in order to provide access for emergency vehicles, and to allow our residents to safely travel the roadways after the worst effects of a storm have passed.
