Chase Bank in Bohemia Robbed

Bohemia, NY - January 25th, 2014 - Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Chase Bank branch in Bohemia today.
 
A man entered the bank, located at 5191-6 Sunrise Highway, at approximately 12:20 p.m., approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and gave the suspect cash from the drawer. The man fled on foot westbound through the parking lot.
 
The suspect is described as black, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 3 inches tall with a thin build. He was wearing a dark blue winter coat, a black-knit hat, a gray scarf and black sunglasses.
 
The investigation is continuing. Anyone with information about this incident is to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
